February Prayers Week 2

Feb 8: Yesterday we heard from a missionary in South Africa and would like to defer your prayers for yesterday for our friends Dave and Virginia Morris. We were so encouraged to spend some time with Dave and hear of the great work God is doing through them in South Africa. What a privilege to see God at work around the globe. 

Feb 9: Please pray for us as we both practice Spanish. We are considering attending a Spanish speaking church regularly. Our plan is to attend one time a month or find an evening service. We have some good friends we can ask for a recommendation. 

Feb 10: Pray we can communicate with our financial partners in a way that makes them feel as loved and appreciated as they are.

Feb 11: Pray we would "follow every lead" even when it feels awkward. We have had many leads and so far have had a few appointments as a result. God is moving!

Feb 12: Pray that we would have effective ministry stateside. Currently, I am a BSF discussion leader, Chris has many opportunities to minister to people he has worked with, and we disciple a couple of young people.

Feb 13: praise God for all the ways he's provided for us already, and for one more orange bunch, and for feeling hopeful (instead of doubtful) that God may yet provide our 85% requirement. It is so good to praise God for what he has already provided. 

Feb 14: always good to pray for our marriage and relationship. One thing to keep in mind is that when we are in language school, Rose will be further along than Chris, which can be hard. Thanks for praying for us as a couple. We have a little getaway coming up and we know God will use it to refresh us.
