Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah

You know them as Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, but those were the names given to them by King Nebuchadnezzar, whose sole desire was to brainwash them into Babylonian robots who did his bidding, not the Lord's.

They didn't.

Can you imagine peering into a fire so large and so hot that those tending it died from exposure? (according to Daniel 3:22 it overheated because the King's order was so urgent.) And then, can you imagine seeing, as you peered inside that fire, three unharmed men and something so bright that you would describe the appearance "as like a son of the gods"?

We have a Light that shines that brightly inside of us.
