Real Food {Week 2}
For the grace of god appeared, bringing salvation to all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us, to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.
-Titus 2:11-14
This was a very challenging week(s) for me! It's a long portion of scripture that my church is memorizing while my pastor does a series on the return of Christ. His intention was that we would take a few weeks to memorize, but that's not my goal for the year, so I did the whole thing over the last two weeks. For some reason, it has been really hard to make it stick. This verse is still hanging out behind tab #2, as I don't have it down perfectly yet. I hope that as I begin to memorize Romans Road (in Spanish!) and keep practicing the previous two verses, scripture memorization is becoming a normal part of my brain function.
