The Dry Well {Day 13}
I have been thinking and praying about this post for a few days now, but I am feeling depleted. Even as I am willing to take liberties with the month's theme, writer's block plagues me. Sometimes, the well runs dry.
Those statements are true in life as well. The people you pray for might be struggling with "blocks" of their own. Roadblocks to ministry, volitional blocks among the people they serve, or blocks set up by the enemy to deter, discourage or delay God's work. Pray against anything that hinders their ministry. Sometimes, the well feels as though it has run dry. But He is the Living Water. Pray for refreshment.
He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” -Jeremiah 17:8
As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? -Psalm 42:1-2
Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. - (Jesus in) Matthew 11:29
Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered. -Proverbs 11:25
